Theme Weeks

Each half term we will hold a whole school theme week for all classes to take part in. 

Activties will be planned for the children in each class around this theme and the week will usually end with a whole school celebration of the work that has taken place.

Theme weeks planned for the academic year 2009/10 are as follows:-

• Autumn 1st half term - week beginning 19.10.09 - CHALLENGE WEEK
• Autumn 2nd half term - week beginning 07.12.09 - CHRISTMAS FORTNIGHT
• Spring 1st half term - week beginning 08.02.10 - CREATIVITY WEEK
• Spring 2nd half term - week beginning 22.03.10 - SCIENCE WEEK  & week beginning 29.03.10 - HOLY WEEK  
• Summer 1st half term - week beginning 24.05.10 - FRENCH WEEK
• Summer 2nd half term - week beginning 19.07.10 - HEALTH WEEK

Topic Planner

This year, as last, teachers are planning a creative curriculum based upon National Curriculum requirements.  Subjects have been blocked together and are being taught as topics, with some half terms are being broken down into smaller blocks of time.  We hope that the teachers and children will be enthused and excited by these new topics and that learning will be fun!  Click here to view the Whole School Topic Plan for this half term.
